Everyone who made it to Hawaii had a great time playing and watching intense competition and had some great fun. And in the end, three Pokémon TCG and three Pokémon video game players became the best Trainers in the world.

There were several firsts this weekend: We had our very first 3-peat World Champion in US Masters Division Pokémon video game player, Ray Rizzo. And we had our first live streaming of both the Pokémon Video Game and Pokémon TCG Masters Division Finals, so everyone could see what it takes to be a World Champion in each card play and each move.

Soon after the event, some of the top players and their Pokémon teams will be selected and distributed via Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection into the upcoming Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2 video games (launching in the U.S. October 7).

You’ll then be able to play against these teams in a new feature called the Pokémon World Tournament!

Battle and practice against them to see what it takes to play and be a Champion in the Pokémon World Championships next year.
