The first day of the 2011 Pokémon World Championships is going to be filled with amazing Pokémon battles, and the excitement level is rising by the second.
Pokémon TCG and video game matches start off early today and won’t stop until we have the Top 8 players in each TCG and video game division moving on and earning a spot in tomorrow’s Main Events!
The Pokémon video game action begins at 8:30 A.M. with the Junior and Senior Division Last Chance Qualifiers.
It’s going to be a thrill to watch as powerful Unova Pokémon teams are put up head-to-head to find out which of these Trainers has what it takes to enter the Pokémon World Championships.
These matches will be single elimination, so expect an amazing battle of awesome skill every single time.
And the Pokémon TCG Last Chance Qualifier will be kicking off right after the 9:00 A.M. player registration, so players should stick around once they are registered, because this event could start at anytime.
The Trading Card Game LCQ is going to be a best-of-three, single-elimination tournament, so again, every match will be intense.
And finally, the video game Masters Division LCQ will kick off at 1:30 P.M. with even more intense Pokémon battles.
This year’s Worlds is guaranteed to be fun-filled and exciting, so stick around for updates on all of the action this weekend.
Welcome to all and good luck to all of our players!
